The New York Times domino puzzle. Place dominoes on the board so every colored region meets its condition, like equal pips or a target sum.

How to play Pips

  1. Place all the dominoes on the board.
  2. Each colored region has a condition, such as all pips equal, all different, a target sum, or greater or less than a number.
  3. Satisfy every region with every domino placed. Choose Easy, Medium or Hard.

  • Start with regions that have the tightest rules, like a single-cell target.
  • Remember each domino covers two cells, which may sit in different regions.
